JPay Player FAQ

A JPay Player is an agency-approved media player designed to give Incarcerated Individuals access to music, albums, and more. The JPay Player is similar to a tablet. Depending on the facility the player may vary in size.

The JPay Player is only available in select facilities. If your Incarcerated Individual’s facility offers JPay media products, you can log into your JPay.com account, click on the “Music” tab, and click “Buy JPay Player” to purchase the JPay Player on behalf of your Incarcerated Individual. Alternatively, you can fund the Incarcerated Individual’s spendable account with the amount of money needed to purchase the device directly from the commissary. Please note, spendable account deposits will be subject to restitution. JPay will begin to process order immediately. We strive to deliver the player within an estimated 45 business days. However, this timeframe is subject to change based upon availability and facility schedules.

Incarcerated Individuals are allowed to browse our large music catalog, access their media account, and purchase music from the JPay Incarcerated Individual kiosks.
